This image was used in a 2-page Aviso Surfboards ad for the annual "Big Issue" of Surfer Magazine. Two photos were used for this "peel-up" effect: the wide-angle water shot of the surfer riding an Aviso board, and a photo of the surface of one of their carbon fiber surfboards. This effect was created using a combination of warping and shading for the "underside" of the surfing photo, exposing the underlying layer of the carbon fiber photo.
