This painting—"Thursday the Owl", is 9x12 in acrylic on canvas, from a photo taken from our dining room doorway. She started to hang out near our condo on Christmas day, 2022, and would be in the same spot, rain or shine, usually on Thursdays. So our granddaughter Elle decide to name her Thursday! After about 2 months of this, she built a nest near the front entrance to our condos, and soon had 3 owlettes. The painting took 105 hours to complete, and was finished March 5, 2024.
